POSITION OPENING: CANNABIS CONSULTANT

The Bloom Room Collective is currently seeking an individual to join our wonderful team. We pride ourselves in offering outstanding customer service and making sure all Members leave with a smile. Bloom Room has been a successful SF Cannabis Collective since 2013 and has always maintained a professional environment for both our Employees and our Members. We are looking for someone with customer service experience, cannabis experience and/or knowledge, point of sales experience, basic computer knowledge, and a passion for helping others.

This is a Cannabis Consultant position. You’ll be responsible for registering new Members, recommending medical and recreational cannabis products to Members, cleaning the facility, updating product menus, maintaining the vapor lounge and much more. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking a career in the cannabis industry since you will learn all the ins-and-outs of a Cannabis Collective and will be responsible for a wide variety of dispensary responsibilities.

We require Team Members who are passionate about the medicine and ready to work. Our shifts are long (10-11 hours) and most of that time is spent on your feet. We have long work days and short work weeks. It’s important for all of our Team Members to support each other positively and promote a healthy workplace. Requirements:

-Valid CA identification or proof of residency

-Must be over 21

-Must have a clean background (we will conduct background checks)

-Must have a passion for cannabis

-Must be detail oriented and able to follow specific protocols

-Must be consistent and punctual

-Must be comfortable with computers and learning new software

-Must be a friendly individual with an outgoing personality

-Must be knowledgeable about cannabis medicine and the medical benefits of cannabis

-Ability to work/stand for 8-10 hrs daily

-Ability to stoop, kneel, and crouch

-Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion

-Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

-Must have a desire to learn and grow professionally

-Must have cashier experience

Responsibilities:

-Learn company products, procedures, policies and protocols

-Listen and work with Members to find products that meet their medical and financial needs

-Process member transactions accurately and efficiently

-Assist with stocking of products in the store

-Answer/transferring multi-line phone

-General cleaning and upkeep of the storefront facility

-Performing additional duties as assigned by your supervisor

-Updating multiple menus, ensuring accuracy with inventory

-Registering New Members to the Collective

-Morning and evening inventory counts

-Counting cash drawers and close-out consolidation

Compensation:

-Hourly Employee (W-2)

-Beginning with Part Time (+20hrs / week), if successful, this position will develop into a Full Time position (+30hrs / week)
